Founder & Managing Director

Tyson Meyers founded Tier 1 Drilling Australia with a clear vision of providing high-quality drilling services that prioritise safety, compliance, and efficiency. With 15 years of valuable experience in the mining industry, Tyson has played a crucial role in building the company into what it is today. His leadership ensures that every project is executed with precision and a strong focus on client satisfaction.

Anthony Hansen

Rig Manager

We’re proud to welcome Anthony Hansen to the Tier 1 Drilling team. Anthony brings a vast range of experience in the drilling industry, making him a valuable asset to our operations. Known for his attention to detail and dedication to quality, Anthony plays a key role in ensuring that our drilling projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Katie Rubesaame

HR Manager

Katie Rubesaame has been in the Drilling industry for 13 years in Operational supportive roles. Katie carries certificates in Occupation Work Health and Safety, Business Management and Bookeeping. Katie is our secret assassin behind the scenes dealing with our day to day operations.

Safety is at the heart of everything we do. At Tier 1 Drilling Australia, we have implemented a comprehensive safety training matrix to ensure that all employees remain up to date with the latest safety protocols and industry regulations.

Our team follows strict guidelines to maintain Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Job Safety and Environmental Analysis (JSEA). All of our equipment is mine site compliant, and we continually upgrade our fleet to stay aligned with changing safety requirements. We believe that education and training are key to maintaining high safety standards, and we make sure our team is fully certified and prepared for every project.
